Handsome Harry

Welcome to Branch Brook Farm! The farm, the sheep, the dogs and the shepherdess, Alix Cleveland, have been here for almost twelve years, but joining the world of the web is new for us. Technology comes slowly on a farm!

Autumn and early winter is breeding season here on the farm. There are eight rams and at the moment Harry, a Scottish Blackface, is taking his turn in the rotation. Handsome Harry, I call him, and the girls seem to find his stunning, spiraled horns quite attractive. If you check back with us in five months time you will see what his lambs look like. I, for one, can’t wait. I hope you enjoy following us through the cycle of the year. As our site develops you will meet the rams, the ewes and, of course, the seven Border Collies that keep the whole mess in order.
